Bastia and Cap Corse
In Bastia, the old port with its colourful façades is the perfect setting for a first drink, before a walk up to the citadel. From there, the Cap Corse road runs along a wild coastline dotted with Genoese towers and small harbours. Stopping together in a village to admire the sea is one of those simple pleasures that bring people closer.
Saint-Florent, the Agriates and Calvi
On the west side, Saint-Florent and its marina invite you to stroll. From its harbour, boats take you to the unspoilt beaches of the Agriates Desert, whose white sand and turquoise water feel like the end of the world. Further on, the citadel of Calvi overlooks its wide bay: a choice setting for dinner facing the sunset.
Corte, the heart of the island
In the centre of Corsica, Corte, Pascal Paoli’s former capital, lines up its sloping lanes beneath a citadel perched on its rock. As a university town, it stays lively all year round. Nearby, the Restonica Gorges offer swims in natural pools and hikes up to mountain lakes. On Lyad, Corsican members share these walks; it is up to you to find someone to enjoy them with.
